About Me

Hi, my name is Michael. I am a PTR certified tennis instructor. My involvement in tennis has been a source of fun, fitness and great friendships for many years. It is a sport one can learn and have fun with at any age. Even though I have played recreationally and competitively for decades, I still consider myself a student of the game. Much of my time off court is spent studying how to improve my game and the game of my students. I live in Center City, but enjoy visiting courts in any of the burbs.

Teaching Style

My lesson is dependent on my students playing experience. I like to know what stroke they least like hitting, whether it be backhand, forehand, serving or finishing a point at the net. New players focus on timing and point of contact. It should be fun for student and teacher.
