I am a tennis teacher that takes pride in his students. I am USPTA and PTR certified and have 14 years of experience teaching in a club setting as well as independently. Some of my students win tournaments but one thing is for sure, I make sure they will have an above average tennis IQ and a game made specifically for them.
Teaching Style
My specialty is tennis strategy and as such I usually emphasize ball placement and consistency. My lessons usually start with a goal. We talk about the idea shortly and we play and drill with that goal in mind. One thing that I do not do naturally is force technique.

As a former 4.0+ returning to tennis after a long break, I needed someone to help wipe of the rust. I chose Yusef based on all the good reviews. But he was not the right coach for me. Entertaining and knowledgeable about professional tennis, but not professional enough of a coach for a serious player. Wasn’t able to give helpful instruction on technique or assess my skills properly, and kinda seemed to want to sabotage my self confidence? Forfeited the cost of the last three classes to find a different coach.
Yusef is great! He’s very knowledgeable and adjust his teaching style to his client. I saw progress after my first lesson. He makes learning easy and fun! I’d highly recommend him for anyone!

Yes, I can travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court in your area.
There is a 6 hour minimum commitment, but if you are not happy after the first lesson, I offer a 100% money back guarantee.
