About Me
Hi, my name is Vivek. An energetic, enthusiastic young man who loves to spread his passion for tennis to in the community and help youngsters and adults alike reach their maximum potential for competitive as well as recreational play. Avid tennis player with plenty of competitive experience in high school and considered playing in college, but chose to go down the path of medical school. I have taught tennis to individuals ranging 5-60 independently for 4+ years and also taught with reputed coach Mark Platt of Beginner's World Tennis in St. Louis.
Teaching Style
As one of my favorite coaches used to say, tennis is 90% footwork. I will prepare all my mentees by working on maximizing their footwork ability to move efficiently though the court to be in the best position for every shot. I will put my students through a series of fast-paced drills to work on their form and consistency. I put an emphasis on maintaining their strengths and focusing robustly on their weaknesses to up their game between EACH session. I will also give them personalized footwork and conditioning drills for them to do daily in between my sessions. Finally, this game is all about fun and enjoyment. Each session will contain plenty of energy and fun, and I hope to see my kids look forward to playing tennis daily.

Very enthusiastic, patient and innovative instructor who continues to help my son elevate his game almost on a weekly basis. My son always looked forward to the energetic coaching sessions and was given exercises and footwork drills to perform between each session, a proactive move I haven't seen other instructors bother with.
