About Me
Hi, I am Coach Tony. I’ve played tennis since I was five years old. I was a top-20 player in my hometown, Taiwan, as a junior player. In the U.S., I played for Walnut High School varsity tennis team and reached the doubles playoffs for CIF final. I played a lot of clay court when I was growing up in Taiwan, and I also have teaching experience on the clay court. Currently, I have taught both kid-beginners and adult-beginners. I'm focusing high school students wanted to take tennis at the college level. I am passionate about tennis, and love to share what I know about the game with students.
Teaching Style
We will Stretch + Warm-up, Drills, Rally, Serves, Play games. I like to tailor fit to student's strengths to teach their playing style. I recommend physical fitness drills and emphasize the importance of the mental game. I illustrate points using the current professional players.
