Hi, my name is Thomas. I started tennis around age 5 in Belgium. Growing up I played in many ITF tournaments around the world, then as I got older played on the futures circuit. After that played four years of Division 1 college tennis. I played and coached in Australia, Romania, Belgium, and here in the United States. I've taught beginners to Division I college players, and have taught a wide array of ages from 4 to 86 even. I've coached women's and men's USTA teams as well in Westchester County, New York.
--------NOTE: Due to the high volume of lessons and the demand it places on my arm and body, I am no longer taking on clients with levels of 4.0 and above.--------
Teaching Style
I'm very big on teaching strong fundamentals from the get-go. I think if you teach the student the proper strokes, then the results will always come as a by-product of the right mechanics. My priorities will always first be groundstrokes and serve, if you become proficient at those then you can really start playing with other people on your own and enjoy it. The more advanced the player is, the different the lesson will be. For 4.0 players and above, we will work on things like match tactics and strategy, court positioning, small tweaks to timing of the ball and even mental parts of the game. If there are glaring mechanical errors, we will address those too.

Thomas is a great coach. I am a beginner but after 1 lesson I already have better control and I am connecting with the ball. I 100%. recommend him. Thomas is really nice and very professional. My husband is a more advanced player and he helped his game as well. So happy we decided on him.
Thomas is an amazing teacher. He has this unbelievable ability to break complex techniques into small components that makes the student feel so effortless. His pleasant character and humble attitude makes him very unique!
Thomas is teaching my 6 y/o daughter Mia. He is very professional, very easy to communicate with to schedule lessons, and he is a great instructor for my daughter. As a parent it's important for me to keep my kids busy in sports and other activities but of course, it's even more important that they like it and enjoy doing it. Thomas has a way of showing her all the technical aspects of basic tennis but in a very fun way so that she is constantly engaged in it. For her it was just a fun 30 minutes of playing tennis but she actually was learning so much at the same time. Highly recommend him!
I don't think you'll find somebody better than Thomas. I've tried out a lot of instructors over the past 3 years and I am relieved to be finished after finding him. He breaks things down into manageable sections and you see your game improve pretty quickly. He's easy to text about lessons, fun during them, enthusiastic about tennis and making you better. Very highly recommend. No way you'll be disappointed.
As someone who started with Thomas with no experience playing Tennis at all, I can say that he not only taught me how to play from basics to advanced techniques, but also has the unique skill of a pro who can teach and relate to anyone whatever their skill level is.
Thomas is an amazing tennis instructor.
Use him. Period.
Great instructor. If you don't get something, he thinks of other ways to teach you. Highly recommend Thomas!
Thomas is a professional to the core. But what I enjoyed most is his humanity. He makes training enjoyable and near stress free.
