About Me

With a strong background in tennis, I bring a wealth of experience to the court. Having played high school and college tennis, and coached at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club for 9 years, I am deeply passionate about the sport. My coaching tenure has equipped me with the skills to teach at all levels, and I take great joy in sharing my love for the game with students as they learn, play, and develop their skills.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is centered around making learning enjoyable and meaningful. I believe that the foundation of any successful lesson is fun, and I strive to discover what fun means for each student. By tailoring my approach to their unique interests and preferences, I create an environment where learning feels like play.For adults who are just beginning their tennis journey, I understand that the sport can be daunting. That's why I use analogies to explain complex concepts in a way that is relatable and easy to understand. Whether it's comparing a tennis swing to a golf swing or equating court positioning to a dance move, I find analogies that resonate with my students, making the learning process both enjoyable and effective.
