My name is Stefan and I was a student-athlete playing for Cornell University's Men's Tennis Team. Here are a few things that you should know about me. I really enjoy teaching tennis and love seeing people improve their tennis game under my guidance. Some of the players I've coached improved after just a few lessons, while some took longer. It greatly depends on the current tennis level and technical ability of each player. However, I take a great amount of pride in my approach to teaching. I focus on delivering and helping you improve your tennis in a fun atmosphere and not just squeezing out an extra buck. I care about the people I coach. But enough about my coaching perspective, as you're probably wondering what is my story.
I started college in 2012 at Mississippi State University and I've then transferred out after my freshman year to study Hotel Management at Cornell University, where I joined the varsity tennis team. As a junior tennis player, I've reached a career high of 28 ITF and competed in both Wimbledon and Australian Open. Teaching experience wise, I've taught tennis in Fishers Island's Hay Harbor Country Club where I helped members of all ages and levels better their tennis game. Also, I taught tennis lessons on the side while in school. I'm currently working in the beverage industry, but I want to stay close to the sport I enjoy by teaching it. I would love to help you reach your tennis goals whatever those might be.
I'm focusing on creating a "serious fun" type of atmosphere, which allows one to improve his/her tennis ability by engaging in drills that are fun and bring a cardio component to tennis as well.

Tennis lessons with Stefan always went well. In a very short amount of time he would improve your game. Each lesson was well planed. He helped improve my forehand, backhand, and service game getting me ready for the season. I would strongly recommend Stefan to anybody looking for good instruction who really wants to get better.
Stefan is a very personable coach with an abundance of knowledge about the game of tennis. He has knowledge on the strokes and technical side of things to an extent, but where he really helped me and my tennis was with my foot work and strategy. I would recommend him too players of all levels.
I would recommend Stefan to anyone looking to learn tennis or improve their game. He is an expert and is passionate about the sport. His lessons are always motivating and challenging, which was exactly what I was looking for. He was able to analyze my strokes and make insightful suggestions, which taught me the basics behind the game of tennis. I took several lessons and Stefan helped me develop a versatile one-handed backhand. He structures the lessons to ensure that I was learning the solid foundation of tennis. Further, Stefan is always professional and personable.
