About Me
Hello tennis fans, my name is Sathish Gopalan. I have been playing tennis for 19 years and teaching for 10 years. I played for the varsity and I am PTR certified tennis instructor with specializations in the Under 10 and Under 17 programs. You can view my credentials on the PTR website. My coaching experience includes Alta Canyon High, Salt Lake County programs, recreational programs in Massachusetts, and numerous private lessons. I love to see the progress made by students after few lessons and I have worked with all age groups from toddlers to seniors. I will try my best to update the schedule to reflect the availability.
Teaching Style
I personalize the lesson as per the student's needs and their goals. I place high emphasize on the correct techniques and do fun challenges. The last few minutes of the lesson will be games or hitting sessions based on the lesson type (private, semiprivate, or group), providing feedback and homework drills.

Student Feedback
Sathish teaches our daughter, who is 13 . She started as a beginner and was not keen on tennis until we tried few lessons with him. Sathish is easy to work with and he is more than willing to spend extra few minutes after the lesson to provide feedback. He suggests age-appropriate and skill-based drills and we used green balls for our daughter before she started using regular tennis balls,
I have had a couple of lessons with Sathish so far and he has helped me with my techniques and I see can a significant improvement. He is very patient and has tailored the lesson according to my needs. He has accommodated changes to my schedule and is fun to work with,
