About Me
Hi, my name is Rushan. I have been playing tennis for about 40 years, from the time my father took me to a run down tennis court. I played competitively at all levels, up to Division 1 collegiate tennis and professional satellite tournaments. With my experience, I can help one make great strides. Before moving to Georgia, I taught in Northern New Jersey for over 8 years with people of all ages, personalities and skill sets. Currently, I enjoy playing USTA adult league tennis, having made it to Nationals three times over the past several years.
Teaching Style
As each person is unique, I carefully work with the various styles of play, personalities and techniques. Fundamentals take longer to develop, depending on one's commitment, but that's why I also focus on strategies and strengths. Incorporating these will make you a better player in a shorter time. Fitness will also be part of our routine, because footwork is paramount for any athlete. Subtle mistakes are often overlooked, so that's where my expertise will benefit your game. Playing intelligently and proper court positioning can reduce the errors and nerves. Being prepared can not be taken for granted. As they say, little things are noticed.

Rushan is the best tennis instructor. He deeply cares about his students & goes out of his way to personalize the instruction based upon how someone best learns, his/her strengths & opportunities. We did drills, hit together and played with others he thought would help me. He makes the lessons both fun & motivating.I took lessons from Rushan for 5 years & I improved so much with my ground strokes & serve. I was so sad when he moved from NJ because I will never find as great an instructor as Rushan.
Rushan is an amazing coach who in just one year helped me improve so much in every aspect of my game.
