About Me
Hi, my name is Ross. As a player I competed on the USTA junior circuit growing up until I graduated from high school where I went on to play college tennis for the University of Illinois. After earning All-America Honors and 2 Big Ten Titles and a brief stint playing professionally, I opted to turn to coaching. I've coached toddlers to competitive juniors, to adult clinics, and everything in between. The only thing that I love more than the sport of tennis, is watching others learn and grow from the sport itself!
Teaching Style
I love upbeat and positive vibes on the court of all times. I really emphasize hands on coaching and making sure that if anything I'm over communicating with the student / class.

My husband and I love working with Ross. He’s gets us. And he knows how to work with 2 people with entirely different skills, he’s taught us how to do something fun together an I’d highly recommend him if you are looking to learn tennis as a couple
Ross was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. He Did the lesson for both myself and my husband and he totally “got us.” He was able to assess the situation and make the necessary corrections for both of us almost immediately. I’ve had previous teachers take two full lessons to understand what Ross understood in five minutes. He was really fun, he had amazing energy, he really listened when I told him what I was trying to accomplish and we can’t wait to renew our lessons with him.
Ross is so great!! So professional, knows the sport and is very experienced, a great teacher and great with kids and with adults!
