About Me
I played D1 college tennis and after graduation played professionally for 8 years. I reached top 200 ATP due to hard work and commitment to the sport. I now live and coach Tennis in Pembroke Pines, Florida. I work with professional players, high performance juniors, adults, beginners. I conduct private and semiprivate lessons. Coaching Tennis is my passion and I will do my best to help you get better.
Teaching Style
My teachint style has evolved over the years as I get more experience. I emphasize preparation for lesson (rackets strung, grips , shoes...) , discipline and being engaged, good footwork and foundation, intensity and running for every ball, consistency and being solid overall. I structure the lesson in a way that drills progress from warm up to more advanced and ability to play some points. Each lesson will have 2-3 major areas of focus so the students feels like he or she is improving in those areas

Excellent lessons obviously as a former top player hitting with him and doing drills with him was great.
His tips to make adjustments on your technique was really good. He was quick to observe needed corrections and methods to incorporate the changes. From serve to what works for him to footwork, strategy I learned a lot in a short time
You feel that you are being trained by a professional tennis player. I can see a positive effect right away after 2 sessions and especially like the variance in exercises and drills. Roman gets to the exact mistake you are making to then help you fix it. I can highly recommend Roman!
I’m very happy that Roman is my coach! I’ve been playing tennis over 15 years (mostly recreational with my friends). Few years ago I started participating in local tournaments and leagues – I could not beat 3.0 level guys and 3.5 level seemed unreachable. So, I found Roman and after some time (about a year, one time a week) with Roman’s coaching my game level went basically from 3.0 to 4.0-4.5! Before, I was _really_ struggling with my forehand, at the net, and a serve, and I could not hold a power ball more than 1-2 shots. Now, I can hit and hold constantly 10+ power top-spin deep shots! I had a way too many bad habits, but thanks to Roman I was able to get rid of them! It does take time and a lot of practice to move forward, but I’m really happy with my progress and Roman is really helping me to achieve my goals as fast as I can. So, I would definitely recommend him to anyone even just to clean up or improve some shots: you will not regret. He is a former ATP tour player and I’ve seen him playing and coaching really skilled guys (5.5-6.0 level, national competitions) – that was impressive!
