About Me

Hi!

I have been professionally teaching tennis for 8 years now and I have over 18 years of experience playing tennis and competing in tournaments and leagues.

I have helped to develop several players from beginners to varsity players, some even to assistant tennis coaches and into high school teams.

I have also captained teenage tennis teams.

I am 10 and under certified PTR certified and have completed the MTM (Modern Tennis Methodology) by renown coach Oscar Wegner.

I currently teach mostly MTM but can work any style of play.

I live in the Homestead area but I am willing to drive north a bit.I also have some already set group lessons and teaching locations.

Teaching Style

I have been described as fun, engaging and detailed. I want to get you hitting and sweating in no time, with a little of instruction on strokes you should be ready to get to work usually on the first day!

I dislike coaching from a basket behind the net for hours on end, I like to try different things which may be drop fed, from the basquet and some even hitting with the student.

I work with your style if you already have one or create one from scratch if new.

With the kids I make sure they have fun first and learn tennis as they go, if kids are not finding the activity fun they will get bored and won't want to learn, all my kid students have tons of fun and leave having learned new tennis tricka, semi western grips and footwork.

I teach Modern tennis with aggressive use of spins and I can work on all areas of tennis and strokes.
