About Me

With 8 years of experience on the court and 2 years of coaching private lessons, I’m passionate about helping players of all skill levels improve their game. As a former high school varsity tennis captain, I understand the dedication and strategy needed to excel, and I tailor each lesson to build confidence and technique. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an intermediate player refining your game, I'm here to help you reach your full potential.

Teaching Style

My lessons begin with stretching and warm-up drills, which I believe are crucial to the start of any practice. When meeting with a new client, I always scope out their playing abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Once these are established, I can then create a plan for future lessons that are tailored to their individual goals. This may include a rotation of hitting drills, strategic development, building stamina, working on individual skills, and rallying. One thing I emphasize is always using correct technique, which they need strong foundations of to be safe and intentional when playing.

Latest Reviews

I worked with Reena for a couple of months before my first tennis team tryout for high school. She was very knowledgeable and helped me to achieve a more consistent serve as well as more advanced groundstrokes. We met for two hours three or four days per week and spent a portion of the time working on each skill I would need to earn a position on my school’s tennis team. I ended up making it onto the team
