About Me
I was born and grew up in Guyana, South America, where the tropical weather allowed me to get involved in all kinds of sports. I became fascinated with tennis as a high school student. I migrated to the United States seeking the American dream! Some years ago I introduced my 5-year-old to this wonderful sport. Eventually I became team mom, essentially spending all of my spare time on the tennis court helping out with the children. I realized that this is a lifelong sport. And the earlier you start the easier it is. I got motivated again and I now play on 3-5 tennis teams each season. I love to teach young children and I am PTR certified to teach all 12 and under players, but I also love working with beginner and intermediate players and both juniors and adults. I am the owner of Mytennis10s Academy and the junior development coach at Cobb County, Sweetwater Tennis Center. I also teach at other locations in and around Cobb County. Have been teaching in The Daytona Beach Area for a short period of time.

Teaching Style
The young ones will warm up with a lap around the court and everyone will shuffle back and forth with racket in hand after which I will start out with feeding a few balls to see what skill level, I am working with. In most cases I find the need to teach grips and ready position. (I am very particular with these two things). In seven lessons you will learn: grips, ready position for every position, forehand, backhand, serve, volley. and finish position for every stroke. I also have a program called Mommy or Daddy and me!
