I have been playing for almost 29 years and have been coaching for 13 years.
I am a certified tennis instructor by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and a USTA member. I am passionate and loves coaching the game and sharing my knowledge and experience for those who want to learn, improve and develop their game. I make sure that my students from beginner, intermediate and advance levels have fun learning and enjoy the game of tennis. I want my students to improve every time they step into the courts whether they are beginners, intermediate or advance.
I like teaching the all-court game. Consistency first and power comes second. Warm up, Skill Development, Game Development and Evaluation of a students game every session. Everytime you play is an opportunity to improve which makes a learning experience worthwhile.

My son has been taking lessons with Raul for almost a year now. He is really enjoying Raul and the lessons!
Raul was terrific. I learned a lot and he made it fun. Definitely would recommend.
I'm very pleased with MyTennisLessons experience. Coach Ralph is a really nice, disciplined person. He is always well prepared and arrives on time or a few minutes early for your lesson. He is quite flexible, so communications with him is easy. His methods of teaching tennis are professional and interesting with a touch of a good sense of humor. This all makes the whole time spent on the court very pleasant.
Since I've been taking lessons with Raul my tennis game has improved dramatically. My forehand has more topspin, my backhand is more consistent and I've learned a lot about court positioning and strategy. Raul uses a variety of drills and exercises to improve my technique as well as my point play. He is always positive and encouraging and he's added a lot of enjoyment to my game. At first, I was hesitant about hiring a coach but it was totally worth it and I would highly recommend Raul.
Raul is one of my favorite tennis coaches. He is totally knowledgeable about tennis and very patient. I'm an intermediate player, and I can see how he would be helpful to anyone at any level. He's very adaptable to a player's needs and trains his students with different techniques in order to improve a student’s level. I respect and appreciate him a lot because he makes me like playing tennis more.
Raul is a wonderful, patient instructor. It had been over 30 years since I played tennis. He started me off with the basics and the hour quickly went by. He would remind me before I swung to follow through or step in. I really enjoyed my lessons with him and plan on having more.
We all like coach Raul. He's teaching me and my kids. He's funny, very patient, and know how to deal with kids. Also, his schedule is very flexible, which is a big help for a family with a busy schedule like us.
I found Raul to be an excellent Instructor. He is very friendly and fun to be with. We worked on following through, slices, and overheads (my weak areas). I would recommend Raul to anyone. My lessons will definitely improve my game.
I talked to him over the phone and through email and text message to set up an appointment. He sounds very nice. Kids have a good time with him. They can't wait for the next lesson.
I signed up for the 6 hour plan with Raul. Thus far I have found him responsive, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and flexible to my tennis goals and needs. I would recommend him as a coach and trainer.
Raul has been the best coach I have ever had. Professional, great tennis skills and fun. I have been playing tennis for many years with many different coaches. I would stop playing - either because I was not making progress or I would get bored. My backhand was never good,. After Raul's coaching, I must say my back hand is almost perfect. He makes the lesson fun. I enjoy my lessons with him and have made a lot of progress. I highly recommend him.
Raul is a perfect coach for me and he gets my highest recommendation. I am a middle-aged professional woman trying to "get into" tennis after several desultory stops and starts in previous decades. I bought a six-lesson packet. Raul gave me several simple, actionable tips that have significantly improved my control of my forehand (my biggest issue), and brought the rest of my game up with that. The tips he gave me worked, and I had not heard them from the various coaches I have used. I had a lot of fun and a very good work-out. He mixed up the contents of the each class nicely, to get variation. He is quiet, very patient and non-judgmental.
Thanks Raul for all your help.
Raul has been a huge help in my improvement. Highly recommend
