About Me

I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old and have totaled more than 25 years. I've taken private lessons and enrolled in tennis academies that have deepened my understanding and knowledge of the game tremendously. I've played in USTA tournaments and I've played on my high school Varsity team since I was in the 7th grade. I've played 2nd Singles for the rest of middle school and 1st Singles throughout high school. I constantly adjusted my game to put myself in the best position to win. Some examples of my in game adjustments included:

* The decision to play a more offensive-oriented game or defensive-oriented game based off my opponent's playing style
* Taking note of which type of shots were more advantageous for me throughout the match
* Taking note of my opponents weaknesses and targeting those areas

I have a passion to help others elevate their game by improving their mechanics, conditioning and building mental fortitude.

My experience has been mostly with kids, teens, and adults ranging from beginners to advanced.

Teaching Style

My specialities focus more on the fundamentals, mental game, and most of all, making the game fun for the students. I offer continual encouragement, reward them with smiley face stickers, and give out homework. I take time to understand how each student learns and continually adapt my style until the concept I'm teaching resonates with the student. As important as it to learn, if my students don't view tennis as a fun activity, then the will to improve diminishes and it doesn't make tennis out to be an enjoyable activity anymore.

I highly emphasize the importance of practice. Without practice, the students will have little to no progress from lesson to lesson. I love seeing my students progress and carry on that progression to the next lesson. I understand that different people learn different ways. Therefore, I never give up trying to find a solution that helps my students reach the next level. The students then learn and can physically and mentally see their actual results.

My teaching style varies from student to student. Therefore, I have no set structure to my lessons. I gauge how the student is feeling, what the student needs, and how well the student is progressing from lesson to lesson. With the constant change in the game, I believe in the flexibility and adaptability of the instructors to their student needs. I, generally, work on one aspect of the game with the student, and once that aspect is understood, we move on to another aspect while reviewing the previous aspect and so forth.

Pree is a terrific instructor! He is wonderfully knowledgeable and very observant. I haven't played in quite a few years and he's helping me with some fundamentals and has provided very useful tips for perfecting my forehand and backhand. He's generous with his time and flexible with my schedule. I'm having a lot of fun, too! I recommend Pree without hesitation!

I have a four year old daughter and I wanted her to learn proper form while swinging the racket and learn the basics of tennis. I was looking for someone who can teach a young child and keep them interested in the sport. I found Preetham through MytennisLessons and I'm very happy. Preetham was able to quickly assess and correct her form and within a few weeks her swing became natural to her and I could see a significant improvement. Preetham also has a special skill teaching young kids. He is patient and does many things to get them excited and wanting to play more tennis. Little things like giving them stickers as they listen better, progress and also by making them laugh on the court seems to make a big difference in motivating kids.
Thank you Preetham!!
