About Me
I am an avid tennis player. I've been teaching for the past eight years and enjoy it more than my day job. :)
It's nice to be able to share my passion with others and is satisfying if they end up enjoying the sport that I love!
I have taught beginner and intermediate people of all ages and also served as a hitting partner. I also string racquets in case you're interested.
Teaching Style
I believe in good form and footwork. Technique and footwork go hand-in-hand.

We had an excellent lesson with Piyush. He gave us many technical and useful tennis 🎾 tips over the two hours we were with him. The facilities at Monte Vista High School where we had our tennis 🎾 lesson are very nice, too!
This review is on behalf of my 13 year old. She finds Coach Piyush knowledgeable, patient and fun. She feels very comfortable taking lessons with him. As for my experience, I find he has been quick to communicate when I've reached out and as accommodating as his schedule allows.
Piyush is patient, focuses on technique, and does a great job in evaluating the strengths and areas of improvement of his students. I definitely saw an improvement in my game under his guidance and will highly recommend him.
Piyush is a fantastic instructor. His focus on teaching proper technique really makes a difference in the way I respond to the lesson. He's very patient and knowledgeable and I'm certain I will improve under his guidance. I highly recommend him.
