About Me
Hi, my name is Patrick. I am a professional in the aerospace industry with a passion for tennis. I have played competitively for years and play at a USTA level 4.0, plus have been a head coach at the high school varsity level for six years (boys) and six years (girls). I have built programs from the ground up, and have taught the game of tennis to a wide array of children, youth, young adults and adults. I have taken many courses in coaching and have studied the game of tennis, both tactically and fundamentally. I am particularly strong at building confidence and getting quick results on all strokes with beginners. I am very good as well at intermediate and advanced player coaching, and have developed players to continue at the NCAA level.
Teaching Style
My specailties are stroke production, from groundstrokes to volleys to overheads to serves. I will tailor the lessons and drills based on the player ability level. I have a wide array of beginner, intermediate and advanced drills and lessons. I am also strong at group lessons as I have coached teams of 20 plus on multiple courts, keeping all going at once including stations. I structure the lessons around the student's ability while maintaining a fun and positive experience. I also can work on the mental approach to tennis at all levels, as this is a huge part of the sport of tennis. I have vast experience in studying and teaching the mental game of tennis.

He is working with myself (a hack for 30 years) and my daughter (a teenager newbie to tennis). Patrick is very knowledgeable and patient - I appreciate the way we are methodically working through the basics. While we work on the same drills, he challenges me with more specific instructions and higher expectations, which is great. And moreover, he is hysterical - very funny and never lets either of us get upset at where we are putting the ball - he has us focus on form, footwork, and follow-through. I would recommend Patrick to anyone from beginner to intermediate. He is just right for us.
Patrick delivered on all fronts.! I used to play a bit of tennis 20 years ago and hadn’t picked up a racquet in over 10 years and Patrick has me playing at 3.5+ within six lessons. He knows what he’s doing and he knows how to get the most out of his students. I highly recommend Patrick!

Patrick is a top-notch coach who goes above and beyond to develop all aspects of your game. He is also extremely generous with his time and a friendly guy! My ground strokes have improved by miles, and his lessons are a great mixture of technical pointers and practice. Lessons are also very dynamic. I leave every one feeling like I've learned something, whether it be a tactical insight, technique, or adding a new component to my game. Definitely would recommend!
