About Me
Hi, my name is Patrick. I am a professional in the aerospace industry with a passion for tennis. I have played competitively for years and play at a USTA level 4.0, plus have been a head coach at the high school varsity level for six years (boys) and six years (girls). I have built programs from the ground up, and have taught the game of tennis to a wide array of children, youth, young adults and adults. I have taken many courses in coaching and have studied the game of tennis, both tactically and fundamentally. I am particularly strong at building confidence and getting quick results on all strokes with beginners. I am very good as well at intermediate and advanced player coaching, and have developed players to continue at the NCAA level.
Teaching Style
My specailties are stroke production, from groundstrokes to volleys to overheads to serves. I will tailor the lessons and drills based on the player ability level. I have a wide array of beginner, intermediate and advanced drills and lessons. I am also strong at group lessons as I have coached teams of 20 plus on multiple courts, keeping all going at once including stations. I structure the lessons around the student's ability while maintaining a fun and positive experience. I also can work on the mental approach to tennis at all levels, as this is a huge part of the sport of tennis. I have vast experience in studying and teaching the mental game of tennis.
