Hello! My name is Neha, and I’m 23 years old. I’ll be relocating to the Wilmington, DE area soon and am excited to get involved in the local tennis community. I’ve been playing tennis for 18 years and have over six years of coaching experience.

A bit about my background: I began competing in USTA tournaments at the age of eight and have played both nationally and internationally. I achieved a national ranking of #4 in the Girls' 18 & Under division and have competed against — and defeated — several players who are now on the professional tour. Following my junior career, I played Division I tennis for Princeton University, where I competed at #2 singles for my first three years and at #1 singles during my senior year. I also qualified for the ITA Fall Nationals and competed in the NCAA tournament.

My coaching journey began when I was a teenager, working with kids in my local community. Since then, I’ve coached at Philadelphia Sports Club’s summer camps and have worked with players of all ages — from children under five to adults. I’ve helped young kids build foundational skills, assisted high schoolers in making their varsity teams, and guided adults in improving their technique and overall game.

My teaching style is energetic, encouraging, and tailored to each player’s needs and goals. I specialize in stroke development, footwork, and match strategy, and I love helping players build confidence in both their technique and mindset. I emphasize fundamentals while also keeping things fun and engaging—whether we're fine-tuning a serve or working on constructing points. I usually start lessons with a dynamic warm-up, then move into specific drills based on what the player is working on, and finish with point play or situational games to apply what we've worked on in a more realistic setting. Whether someone is just starting out or trying to take their game to the next level, I aim to keep them challenged, motivated, and always learning.
