About Me
I am a passionate tennis coach and esthetician with two years of experience working with children aged 4-9 and older. Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, I started playing tennis at Mach Academy at the age of 11 in 2012. I am now 22, I’ve developed a deep love for the sport and i am dedicated to sharing that passion with young players, helping them develop their skills and love for tennis.
In 2022, I embarked on a coaching journey, starting with my tennis camp summer program as part of AmeriCorps VISTAi coached at MACH Academy. Afterward, i moved to Suwanee for schooling and provided private lessons to children in the Gwinnett area. I Recently returned to Augusta to coach at MACH Academy's summer program, this time as a Tennis Coach. Alongside coaching, I have two years of experience as a licensed esthetician and i am an aspiring nail and lash technician.
Teaching Style
My coaching style is structured yet engaging, focusing on building fundamental skills, athleticism, and game strategy. Lessons begin with stretches, incorporating both static and dynamic movements to prepare the body. This is followed by endurance and explosive running drills, including footwork exercises like ladders and obstacle courses to improve agility and stamina.
Water breaks are scheduled after ball pickups, ensuring players stay hydrated and energized. Drills are a key component, with a focus on ground stroke warmups, forehand/backhand techniques, serve and volley drills, and drive ball hitting. Light cardio and strength exercises, such as jogging, pushups, and sit-ups, are integrated to enhance overall fitness.
To reinforce skills in a fun way, I like to incorporate games like King of the Court, Mosquito, Around the World, Jail, and Ruler of the Court, which foster competitive spirit and strategic thinking. The session will conclude with match play, typically one set of 4-6 games with ads, to teach players the nuances of scoring and match dynamics.

Our session was amazing! Naturi is great at teaching tennis. Her determination to help everyone involved was amazing. She kept the session engaging and fun.
