About Me

Hello! My name is Milica (pronounced M-i-l-i-t-z-a) and I am currently a tennis coach for kids 10 and under as well as high schoolers at an indoor tennis club in Bryn Mawr. I am also coach of a middle school boys tennis team at a Main Line private school and I am assistant coach for their Varsity tennis team. Years ago I was 2nd on Varsity at The Baldwin School. Fast forward I now train 2 of my 3 kids and have helped many Main Line area tennis players of all ages improve their game, learn fundamentals, and most importantly enjoy the game. Whether you are competitive or just a weekend or part time player I can help you improve your skills. I teach kids and adults the groundstrokes of tennis, as well as to serve, volley, lob and more. I keep the lessons fun. As a mother I understand that some kids need encouragement for engagement. By taking classes with me juniors will gain a greater sense of ability, agility, enthusiasm and interest in tennis. I am energetic and can deal with folks from all walks of life. I welcome the opportunity to teach adults as well. I hold a BA from Drexel University and an MA in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University. I speak numerous languages and have traveled the world. I am dynamic with a passion for tennis and healthy living. My goal in tennis to increase skill, ability, and confidence. I am currently working on my Tennis Certification at MTM-U which is Oscar Wegner’s Modern Tennis Methodology. Thanks!

Teaching Style

Teaching how to control the ball with a games based approach and effective communication. Showing students how to hit, how to hold the racket in different situations, and focusing on strokes technique, tactical intentions, and precision.
