I am currently a teaching pro of 10 years here in Cincinnati with my current employer. I am also USPTA certified and AIC certified. I am varsity coach at the local high school here. I teach at several local recreation centers doing 10 & under, adult groups and teams. I teach kids of all ages and levels. The same with the adults. My philosophy is this: tennis is a sport that anyone can play. It doesn't matter where you are from, what type of work you do or the color of your skin. Tennis is a great avenue of meeting new friends, getting a good work out and staying in shape. I also recommend cardio tennis for those who like to mix a great work out, but learn how to play the sport. I have been married for 15 years and have two great daughters who have been playing since age 4. They are now 12 and 14. I travel the country with my older daughter who plays high level events year round. I also specialize in QuickStart tennis for the little ones using age appropriate balls, racquets and nets. I am big on technique: the use of flat or topspin balls. I emphasize footwork, coordination, listening skills and most of all, having fun. The style I teach depends on the student's skill level. I also believe great attitude is the key component to being a good player whether you are a tournament player, high school player, or JV or middle school player.
