About Me
Hi, my name is Mike. I am a nationally-ranked singles and doubles player and a silver ball winner. I'm a previous college assistant coach and assistant tennis director for 12-court tennis center. My focus is on developing the player in the following three areas:
1) technical - ensuring each player has excellent fundamental strokes which will grow into reliable weapons
2) physical - making absolute sure the player is physically fit to endure the rigors of tough matches and developing the strength to execute their game
3) mental - only after technical and physical development, we can grow the player to develop the mental strength to compete at the highest levels.
I currently have highly ranked national players and work out with them myself.
Teaching Style
My students need to understand why we are focusing on certain areas so that they can become students of the game. In this capacity, they can dissect an opponent's game to arrive at the appropriate strategy to enhance chances of winning or understand why their game is not where it needs to be. Lessons are rigorous and fun and the students are will improve drammatically in a short period of time.

Lessons include basic ground strokes, serves, volleys and for the older son—shot-making. My boys really enjoy their lessons with Mike. They were advanced beginners when they started.
