About Me

Hello my name is Michelle and I am a local San Antonio tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 10 years teaching experience! I have played tennis since I was six years old and I first learned how to play tennis from my eldest brother at an early age. I then began taking lessons from my brothers’ tennis coach who had an amazing track record, so I thought it would be a great idea to just learn from the very best! He not only taught me the game of tennis but taught me life lessons that made me the person that I am today. At the age of 17 years old, I was given the privilege of representing the United States of America on an international touring team. I was given the opportunity to compete in tournaments in both England & Scotland. It was an incredible experience and I very much hope to be able to pass on some of what I have learned to my tennis students!

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the San Antonio area at Bradley Middle School, Macarthur High School and Alamo Heights Junior School but I am also willing to travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that’s conveniently near you.

Teaching Style

My teaching style varies per student, but in general to create an environment where people have fun! We cannot forget that tennis is only a game!

I picked up tennis as a new hobby last fall. And started taking lessons with Michelle since early March 2023 she's actually my second coach. Michelle is just GREAT! Learning and training with Michelle has helped me brush up my skills. She's helped correct my errors and I feel my improvements in tennis each practice. I am 40 years old, retired and I could say is never to late to pick up a new sport/hobby. I love it so much!!! that I wish I had started tennis since my teens, but age doesn't matter Michelle is not only flexible but she's had a lot of patience and I appreciate her so much.
