About Me
Hi My name is Michelle and I am an avid lover of all things tennis. I have been playing for 16 years and have maintained a top 50 USTA rating in both California and Georgia while in high school. I played number one singles on both of my high school teams. I continue to play ALTA and USTA leagues at the AA and 4.5 level. I have been coaching on the side for about 5 years and have an interest in helping young beginner/intermediate students of tennis develop a love for the game.
Fun fact: I once had the opportunity to play a point against Pete Sampras at a tournament in Newport Beach. :)
Teaching Style
I like to do one hour lessons to really accomplish everything in a lesson. I structure my lessons with a warm up around the court with footwork and feeding drills to determine where my player is at. I'll work on problem areas from there and will hit one on one with the player. I like to end with serves and ask the player if there's anything they specifically want to work on.
