About Me

Hi, my name is Michael. I provide quality tennis instruction to players of all ages and levels. I use my 10 years of professional coaching experience and my professional training and certifications from the USPTA and USTA to teach the correct techniques in the most effective ways.

Teaching Style

My teaching style features especially effective progressions. These progressions have benefited inexperienced players, including youths, who improve through methodical, step-by-step instructions. This allows improvement even from complete beginners. This ability to emphasize step-by-step additions and adjustments to techniques and strategies permits any player to learn any technique given enough time with me. So, my lessons are structured using progressions and regressions - when a player is ready, we move to the next step. And, when a player struggles with combining steps and moving on to more complex techniques and strategies, I still have simpler foundational steps to regress to as we work up to mastering future goals.

Michael is a great coach with excellent teaching and communications skills. He trained my 9 year old daughter. I can see great improvement in her tennis skills.
Mike is very good at answering phone calls, replying to text messages, emails, and clear in explanations while speaking in person.

Mike has the following skills while teaching :
the ability to demonstrate techniques, the ability to move/ manipulate the player, the ability to pass the ball to player with hand tosses and rallying, the ability to analyze strengths and weaknesses and the ability to design and use progressions so improvement is gradually made possible with specific lessons.
Professionalism: punctuality, attitude, mood and personality, competitive pricing and use of proper equipment and teaching tools. I would definitely recommend him for tennis training for beginner to advanced player.
