About Me

Hello my name is Michael and I am a local Germantown tennis instructor with over 40 years of playing experience and over 5 years of teaching experience. I’m also a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional. I have played competitive tennis over the years, most recently having been a member of the team that won the finals of the 2022 WTA Mid-Atlantic Tournament in Hershey, PA and we were semi-finalists in the 2022 WTA National Tournament in Orlando, FL. I have coached students for USTA junior tournaments in the Maryland area.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Germantown area but I will also travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that’s conveniently located close to you

Teaching Style

I have a set of progressive drills that I deploy to challenge students to bring out higher levels of skill for each student. At the same time, I can personalize input and keep instruction fun!
