About Me
Hi there! My name is Meg, and I started playing when I was 13. I played 4 years for Wright State University in Ohio, where my team reached the conference championship twice and my doubles partner and I set the school record for most doubles wins in a season.
Over the past 8 years, I was an assistant coach for high school and middle school teams in Ohio, and taught private and group lessons to students of all ages and ability levels at various clubs and summer camps. I am currently the assistant men's and women's coach at Arizona Christian University.
Teaching Style
I like to do a variety of things in lessons, such as feeding, live ball hitting, games and fitness drills. Early on, I like to watch the student hit so I can get an idea of how to help them improve, and then I ask them what they want to work on. Continual student feedback is very important to me. I also like to teach mental performance techniques, as the mental side of tennis is just as important as physical hitting. Every student learns differently, so I try to tailor my teaching style to how the student learns best.

Megan taught both my kids. They were young. One was In Elementary and other in middle school/high school. She trains very well. Lot of practice with volleys and improved serves. She was always on time and gave 100% in each lesson. I highly recommend her to anyone who is getting started or already playing tennis.
