About Me

Hi there, my name is May! I started playing tennis on my high school team and quickly fell in love with the sport. During college, I participated in several charity tennis tournaments and, in high school, competed in Almont League doubles championship. Additionally, I have experience as an assistant coach for both JV and Varsity girls' high school tennis teams.

Teaching Style

Depending on the student's level, I start with a 5-10 minute verbal assessment and drill to gauge their skills and goals. From there, the lesson may focus on key aspects such as contact hitting, rallying, serving, volleys, overheads, drop shots, to game strategies. Ultimately, my emphasis is not on flashy techniques but on mastering fundamental skills.
