About Me
I have been a tennis coach for 35 years working with kids of all levels first in my country and then here in the United States for my last 15 years. The first five years I worked for a prestigious academy and then created my own program.
Teaching Style
I emphasize three aspects: from the beginning I introduce tennis with coordination games, then by playing I work in technique, and then I make the kids play some simple points.

Mauricio and his partner coach Maria have been incredible in teaching my children. My son has had amazing progress in just one year. Maria's persistence and determination have done incredible things for my son's confidence. The kids also have a great time, as she makes the drills fun and appropriate for their age level. We highly recommend them.
My daughter received lessons from Mauricio for approximately 2 years. She started when she was 6. Through Mauricio, she learned the fundamentals of tennis such as proper racket handling. He also incorporated fun games which made learning tennis fun. My daughter enjoyed his classes.
Coach Mauricio has been coaching me and my kids for three years, and it has been fantastic. The kids, who are seven, five and three years old, have learned the basics of the art of playing tennis while developing their motor skills as well as their listening skills. I played tennis for the first time with Coach Mauricio. It has been a great workout, but most of all it has been so much fun to learn a new skill!
