About Me
Hi, my name is Matt. Growing up, a few of my friends and I started playing tennis at a local park. No private coaches, no fancy facilities, just having fun on the court together. We all ended up playing for our high school varsity team, and I eventually made the jump to playing D3 collegiate tennis for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. In 2010, I earned my PTR Coaching Certification, and have taught individual lessons, groups, and tennis drill camps for the better part of the last 15 years. I've taught tennis to kids as young as 3, seniors pushing 80+ years old, and everyone in between. Tennis is for everyone, and I love spreading my love of the game to others!
Teaching Style
My teaching style fully depends on what your goals are!
If you're brand new to tennis and want to pick up a sport you can play for the rest of your life, I can teach you all of the fundamentals you need to get started and feel comfortable on the court.
If you're looking for a way to get outside, enjoy the weather, and get/stay in shape, we can tailor your lessons to help you achieve your desired fitness goals.
If you have some experience on court and are looking to take your game to the next level, we can work on fine-tuning your game by drilling tactics and strategies that will push your limits and grow your on-court skills.
