About Me

Hi, my name is Martha and I am a USPTA tennis professional who has been teaching for more than 15 years. Teaching tennis is my passion! I specialize in teaching beginner adults, kids, and cardio tennis. I am also a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in exercise physiology. I like to incorporate fitness training and movement into the lesson which is a key component of becoming an excellent tennis player. Also, if you need assistance finding a tennis racket I will help fit you into the correct racket and grip size. I am willing to come to your neighborhood courts as well as open to teaching at my tennis court.

Coach Martha is a fantastic tennis coach. My two kids love their coaching sessions. She runs expertly tailored lessons for kids (5and 8). She’s very patient and personable. My kids are beginners. This has been their first exposure to tennis and they are all in because of Coach Martha.

Martha is patient and methodical. I have learned more about tennis and the basic tennis techniques in 3 lessons than with all prior training with other instructors. Will definitely keep her as an instructor.

Martha is great in teaching and is always patient and caring. We have been improving and learning a lot. We would definitely recommend Martha to our friends.

Coach Martha is an excellent coach! She is skilled, personable and communicative. My daughter started lessons with her as a total beginner, preparing to join the high school tennis team in the spring. She is much more confident now that she has Coach Martha's encouragement and guidance. We are grateful!

Just had my second lesson with Martha and I feel like I have learned quite a bit. She took the time to listen to what my goals were, valuated my current skill set and we've been consistently working on improving since then.

She's very patient and takes the time to explain and demonstrate what she is looking for.

Martha is awesome. I am an adult beginner and she goes through each step of the game making sure you fully understand and you are doing each move correctly.

Martha is a great teacher. My 12 year old son was looking forward to his weekly lessons with her. She is patient with kids, makes the lesson fun and rewarding, and focuses on building the right foundation that makes for a good tennis player. Too bad we moved to Suwanee and we cannot have her as a teacher!

She is working with my 10-year old son, an absolute tennis beginner. Her patience is terrific and he remain enthusiastic about playing and going to practice twice per week with her. We can see there has been real improvement in his game. I play tennis myself, but did not have the teaching skill-set to help my son develop as she has. Whenever it is my turn to bring him to practice, I actually pick up some ideas on how to work with my son in the future as well as some basics I may not have considered regarding my own game!
