About Me
Hi, my name is Mario. I have been playing tennis for over 30 years, 15 of those playing competitively in USTA league tennis. I have achieved a ranking in the top 20 in men’s 50′s division in the Southern California Region as well as a 1st place ranking in the 4.5 division. My goal is to help my students enjoy the game of tennis and play their best regardless of their skill level.
Teaching Style
My lessons include working on footwork, the ready position for all strokes, and some basic fundamentals of the forehand and backhand. I emphasize moving toward the ball, teach beginners how to hold the racket, and utilize drills and fun games as a teaching mechanism.

I've had 6 lessons with Mario with 6 to go. In those 6, I've learned so much and he's given me a lot of feedback which has been useful. He's very clear with his instructions and his drills are commensurate to my skills and abilities. I'd recommend Mario for all skill levels.
Great teacher. Breaks the mechanics down well
