About Me
Hi my name is Luis, I am from the Dominican Republic. My highest ranking in DR was number 1 at the age of 16 and I also played number 1 for my high school tennis team, Perth Amboy High. I have been teaching tennis for 30 years in NJ.
My aspiration as a tennnis coach is to make all players love the game.

Luis made some tweaks to my grip on both the forehand and the backhand sides. I went from having low confidence in my ground strokes to hitting with power and top spin with authority. Luis has a great personality. He’s got a very sunny attitude and makes an effort to figure out what you’re all about. I feel like we’ve been friends for a long time.
Luis is an excellent coach. He has patience and pushes his students to perform better. My daughter is in the beginning stages but has improved her strokes and movement. We look forward to continue with Luis!
I hadn’t taken tennis lessons in twenty years and only played a few times during that period. Luis made gettting my game back together easy. I was embarrassed of my serve and had a ton of bad habits. After a few weeks my serve was back up to speed and I can volley for a good amount of time. I have continued my lessons to take it to the next level but can also play in matches with a decent level of confidence. Aside from that Luis is a really nice guy and is very flexible with scheduling and rescheduling.
