About Me
Hi! My name is Lucas, and I've been playing tennis for over 17 years. I currently compete at the Division 1 level for UC Riverside, playing in the #4 spot. Over the past 5 years, I’ve coached players of all ages and skill levels—from young beginners to competitive adults—and it’s something I truly love to do.
I was ranked in the Top 30 juniors in the U.S. and competed in ITF Futures tournaments in Spain, where I trained at CMC Competition, one of the top academies in Europe. There, I had the chance to train alongside ATP top 300 and WTA top 150 players—including Daria Kasatkina, who is currently ranked #8 in the world.
As much as I love playing, I’m just as passionate about coaching. Helping my students improve, gain confidence, and enjoy the game is what motivates me every day. Whether you're new to tennis or working toward high-level competition, I tailor each session to your goals and make sure you're having fun while leveling up your game.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is energetic, supportive, and tailored to each player. I specialize in technique, footwork, and point construction. I structure lessons around warm-ups, focused drills, live hitting, and match play to keep things both effective and fun. I adjust each session to meet the player’s goals—whether it’s improving consistency, developing weapons, or preparing for competition.

I had a great experience training with Lucas. He was professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. His instructions were clear, he was very patient, and he adjusted the lessons to my intermediate skill level. I appreciated his positive attitude and how encouraging he was throughout. Highly recommend!
Lucas is an outstanding tennis coach! Always positive, incredibly skilled, and truly dedicated to helping me improve. Every lesson is motivating and fun. Highly recommended!
Lucas is the most well-rounded coach I’ve worked with. I initially hired him as a hitting partner, but he quickly became a full-time coach for me. His experience training with ATP/WTA players really shows. He gives smart, practical advice and challenges you every session. I've gained so much match awareness and mental strength thanks to him.
My 8-year-old daughter has tried a few sports, but tennis with Lucas is the first time she’s truly fallen in love with something. He’s incredibly patient with kids and knows how to make learning fun. She’s gone from barely knowing the rules to playing short games and keeping score! I highly recommend Lucas to any parent looking for a friendly and skilled tennis coach for their child.
