About Me
Greetings! My name is Litia, but I go by Tia on the daily. I was brought up in a tennis home. My whole family and I have represented our country, the South Pacific and universities through the sport of tennis. I am my fathers tennis shadow. I grew up assisting his summer tennis programs and helping the development of tennis on our island for years. I've played in ITF tournaments that gave me opportunities to travel to different countries and also, paved a pathway to achieving full-ride tennis scholarships to a Junior College in Roswell, New Mexico, and a 4-year college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I have also received my Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition. Currently, I've been playing USTA and UTR league for 4 years. My most recent breakthrough in my tennis goals is that I had a chance to play in my first W75 Pro Circuit Tournament known as the Lexington Challenger in Lexington Kentucky. Tennis has always been my passion, and I hope I can continue to spread the knowledge of the sport through more generations.
Teaching Style
I like to break things down for players to understand the concept. Creating different scenarios with the tennis ball or different positions to challenge you. If you have a specific stroke you want to work on. We can focus on those too as well as, making the learning process fun and understanding.
