About Me
Hi, my name is Lisa. I am a former NCAA Div I tennis player at Xavier University. I played #1 Singles and #1 Doubles for all four years. Most wins in Xavier's tennis history. I have been a tennis pro for almost 30 years. Including top tennis resorts New Seabury (Cape Cod, MA), The Colony Tennis Resort. I have also taught at many top tennis clubs in Cincinnati, Florida and Cape Cod, MA. I have extensive experience teaching all ages and player levels from beginner to advanced tournament level. I have had training in 10 & Under tennis and Cardio Tennis.
Teaching Style
My teaching style including identifying each players ability levels, athletic ability levels. My goal is to have everyone love tennis as much as I do. I focus on fundamentals, consistency of groundstrokes, adding variety to your game as you improve (ie serve & volley, specialty shots and spins, etc). Each lesson thorough instruction is provided and IN ADDITION, plenty of tennis balls are hit to practice what has been taught.

Switching to Lisa from another instructor made all the difference in the world! Not only is she upbeat and a pleasure to be around, but she improved my game in so many ways - within just one hour! It was face paced and I felt like all of her instructions were clear and to the point. I left that lesson smiling ear to ear and calling my husband to tell him I just had the best experience and that all I want for Christmas is weekly lessons with Lisa!
My first lesson. I’m an adult that has never played - have batted around a few times. Lisa is cheerful, energetic, organized, patient, and skilled. I’ve got plenty to practice before our next meeting. I highly recommend her!
Lisa is an excellent and motivational coach for my twin 13y/o boys. They are developing a true love and passion for the game thanks to Lisa. She is extremely patient and knowledgeable in her teaching of tennis technique, and answers any questions with confidence and knowledge.
My first lesson covered going thru the basics of each stroke with advice on what I needed to focus on to be a better player. Since it had been a while sine I had played - she gave me great tips on everything including how the clay court feels which is new to me. I felt comfortable and at ease with Lisa yet she was always watching to give me advice. Her approach would be more like a coach - working with me to improve my game.
