About Me
I have been playing tennis since elementary school in Wellington, KS. In high school, my doubles partner and I medaled at state for 3 years including a 1st place at state my senior year (team and individual). I attended college at Washburn and Ottawa University playing tennis and receiving a degree in Physical Education K-12. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a teacher/coach. My first year out of college I went to TbarM in Dallas, TX to work primarily with players age 4 to 10.
From Dallas I moved back to Kansas to teach Elementary PE as well as coach both boys and girls high school tennis teams. After 5 years in Winfield, KS I moved to New York becoming a Tennis Professional and Junior Director at MatchPoint Tennis in Goshen, New York. I am currently working in the Kansas City area as an Elementary PE teacher in the Basehor- Linwood District. I enjoy working with players of all ages and abilities and believe every player is different. Something that works for one player may not work for another and I'm here to help you either perfect your tennis skills or learn a new sport.
