About Me

Hi, my name is Levi. I began playing tennis with my grandparents when I was nine years old. I fell in love with the sport very quickly after that and have played regularly ever since. I played in college and have participated in numerous USTA tournaments, and leagues. I enjoy teaching the game to new players, and/or helping people fine tune a few things to help them progress to the next level. I have always had a great knack for developing someone else's game and being able to assess incorrect steps/procedures to get a player on the right track. In regards to scheduling: Sometimes my schedule can be quite hectic, I work a full time job that requires many evenings and weekends, but live in an area that has two easily accessible tennis courts! Some weeks are busier than others, but I can always find time to fit in lessons when your schedule allows! I do sometimes have availability outside of what is shown here.

Teaching Style

Lessons begin with some exercises to develop the movements/technique we will be working on that day (balance, stroke motion, reflexes, etc.) and then get into tennis activities and drills. I find it most beneficial to get the student in live ball scenarios as early and often as possible to replicate match play. Most importantly, I rely on communication from you to know what you want to work on and what your desired result is! I have a large catalogue of drills and activities to develop all aspects of the game. I also have a great network of additional instructors that I discuss topics with regularly to stay in the loop of trends and new methods. I own a ball machine which allows me to be closer to the student and view their form from several angles rather than solely feeding from a hopper.

You can stop searching. Levi is a perfect coach for any skill level (I'm a 3.5, but saw him interact with beginners and players better than myself). I purchased 12 hours with him and we almost exclusively worked on my back hand. I've played for 10 plus years with no real formal training and have never been able to develop one. By the end of the 12 weeks I was consistently hitting a good backhand with high accuracy. It has completely changed my game and approach to tennis. On top of all this, Levi is just a great dude who has a real passion for tennis and is always looking to increase his own level of knowledge and develop new approaches for the game. For me, that's the biggest reason I enjoyed working with him.

Levi gave me exactly what I needed to re-enter into my tennis game after a couple of minor injuries. He was personable, fun and gave me tips that instantly made my strokes better. Looking forward to my next lesson.

I have had great experience working with Levi. His coaching style is very adaptable based on the level of the player. Always patient in explaining things over and over, he makes the lesson fun and enjoyable. Thanks to his great coaching skills, I was able to improve my backhand within a few classes. He pays good attention to technique and gives feedback which has helped me to improve my game. I recommend Levi for players of all levels!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Levi. This was my 11 year old's first time at private lessons, and Levi was such a pleasure to work with. Improvement was evident over the weeks that he worked with Levi. Levi was also very patient, timely and reliable. Would definitely recommend him!

Being new to tennis, Levi was a good fit for me as an instructor. He helped me work on the basics of the game and build a solid foundation on which to build upon further. He was very flexible in working with my schedule for lessons and very responsive in his communications. I would recommend him as an instructor, especially for beginners like myself!

It was my first tennis lesson ever and I was a bit nervous. Levi put me at ease right away. I truly enjoyed the class and all the technique drills. Looking forward to my next class with this coach!

Levi is super patient, calm, and very easy to get along with. He loves the game and enjoys teaching others and it shows. He’s also got a good sense of humor, which is necessary with me as I haven’t played in decades and I’m just not good...yet. I highly recommend Levi as an instructor.

I took tennis lessons with Levi several years ago and enjoyed them so much that when my son expressed interest in learning how to play I never even questioned who to contact. Levi was the easy (and best) choice! It was great to see how patient he was, and how he changed his instruction from my lessons to my son's lessons so that my son could easily understand what he was saying. Regardless of your level, Levi is a great option for a tennis coach!

Levi gave me several lessons and really helped me develop a great top spin forehand. He was completely comfortable hitting, or feeding balls so I could get the repetition that I needed to really get a feel for the motion needed. He has such a calm presence and is very easy going. You let him know what you want to work on and he will research drills to help you however he can!

This was my 1st lesson and I was worried since I’ve never played tennis before. Levi was great and I’m looking forward to our next lesson. I’m excited to learning how to play tennis!!

Levi was an excellent instructor! As someone who’s played tennis recreationally for years, he was able to quickly identify both my strengths and weaknesses during a quick volley. We then had a series of drills to specifically address the weaker aspects of my game that helped a ton. Very personable and enjoyable to work with too!

Alex Z. (Verified Review)

Levi taught both my son and I how to play tennis. The drills and warm ups that he includes are great, and not something I had seen other trainers/coaches offer when taking lessons previously. Whether talking to my son (11 years old) or myself (35) Levi knew exactly how to communicate his point and help set us straight! I cannot recommend him enough!

Levi has a great patience and personality. It was extremely fun learning to play tennis with him, and also very stress free!
