Lars is an excellent coach who is able to easily adapt to a student’s skill level and goals. We were both absolute beginners when we started lessons with him, and he took the time to teach the fundamentals and ensure we understood why those fundamentals will be important.

He provides actionable feedback when we make mistakes without being overly critical. The drills and activities he chooses for each lesson are variable enough to always stay interesting while also allowing us to easily see the progress we’re making.

Additionally, Lars is very easy to schedule with and is incredibly friendly in every interaction. We would strongly recommend Lars as a coach for a player of any skill level.

Lars is a great instructor, just what I need at my stage of development. Great guy, knowledgeable, flexible. Also an excellent guitar player - and great guitar teacher, so ask him about guitar lessons too!

Lars is a great coach to work with. He is informative, patient, fun and flexible. We were able to improve our stokes just after a few lessons. I highly recommend Lars if you are looking for a coach to level up your games and also have fun with!

Lars is an excellent tennis coach. Lessons are fun, informative and a good solid workout. We do drills and do point play/strategy work. He has helped me improve all my strokes but especially in court strategy and point building. Super flexible and readily adapts to whatever you have in mind for your lesson, but I can tell that for beginners he would have a very specific game building approach in mind. Highly recommend

Lars is an amazing coach that teach you in every detail of tennis, especially for the beginners. He is for sure the best coach in the area.

Lars is an excellent instructor and super great guy. Excellent knowledge of the sport, quickly adapts to individual student skill sets and learning styles. Always willing to focus on whatever area of your game you ask. Short of that he will make sure your lesson is well rounded and engaging. Highly recommend. Pretty darn good musician too!

I waited until my 3rd lesson in 2 weeks to say Lars is the best coach I have bad! He had the perfect balance between allowing me to have fun and making sure I am doing everything right so I can enjoy in the long run.

Lars Nagel has done a fantastic job of quickly identifying areas where I can improve. He has provided a great deal of focus on changing and improving my technique and spends time discussing and practicing strategies. He provides answers and possibilities to my questions and is very personable in his conversations. He has been a great coach for me as I look forward to our weekly lessons as much as I do matches!

We couldn't be happier with Lars! He is incredibly patient and such a knowledgeable and fun coach. Three of my children take group lessons together and he is wonderful at explaining what they are working on, getting their complete attention, and keeping the lesson fun!

Lars is a great Coach. Very punctual and flexible with what we need to work on. Also he can quickly catch what I am doing wrong and correct me immediately. I just finished my first 6 lessons and I just booked 6 more.

I’ve been taking lessons twice a week with Lars for over a year now and he is the best coach I could have asked for. Lessons are always fun, he is very flexible and let’s me pick and choose from all the drills we’ve done over the year, basically every session is a combination of all I want to do with all he thinks we should work on. Today’s lesson topped it all though - I don’t know any other coach who’d agree to have a session in the snow! Of course with all the precautions and limitations caused by the slippery court the lesson was different that usually, but at the end of the day I got my workout, had fun as always and realized I have the best, most devoted and dedicated teacher. Thank you, Lars.

Lars is a super tennis coach. Very professional with great communication. His teaching skills are astounding, he always went above and beyond the drill, always encouraging and pushing my son to excel with every stroke of the ball.

What an absolutely awesome experience, Tennis lessons with Lars. Tennis instructor for mytennislessons.com Atlanta Georgia. I purchased a block of 10 tennis lessons with Lars – enjoyed them so much and went back and setup another group of sessions. I played for several years on ALTA , and realized I needed to learn. I wish I would of started Day 1 with him and not had to relearn so many things. Not only A+ instructor, an exceptional listener, and person – a lot of fun. Actually, Lars reminded me on one tennis lesson “this is suppose to be fun”. Signed up with an instructor or 2 before I met Lars and they did not work out. Whether you are a Beginner, Advanced or if you are Alta A, B, C, D, or F  , Lars will improve anyone’s game at any level and have a blast doing it.

I have Lars as the coach for my two teenage kids for a year. He is very nice and professional. Both kids enjoyed his lessons and improved their tennis skills very much. He is also very flexible of rescheduling the class to cooperate with kids' other activities. I greatly appreciate his help and would like to recommend him to other people.

Lars has been an excellent instructor. His skills at both teaching and playing tennis are exceptional. I have a learning challenged brother who decided he wanted to learn how to play tennis at age 48. Lars was nothing but respectful and patient in teaching him. My brother thinks the world of him.
