I started playing tennis at the age of 17 when a friend convinced me to join our high school team in Wheeling, WV. I continued to play recreationally off and on until 2023 when I joined a singles ladder in Pittsburgh, PA. Since then I’ve been fascinated with bettering myself at the game.

As I've been growing as a player I've found it highly rewarding to help others grow their game too. In mid 2024 I decided to pursue a career in coaching. Currently I am a teaching pro at the Mount Lebanon Racket Center located in Pittsburgh. My coaching credentials/experience include:

- PTR level 1 coaching certification
- USTA Safe Play certification
- Teaching Pro at Mt. Lebanon Racket Center
- Private Lessons (individuals and groups)

I specialize in getting players to the rally as fast as possible. My belief is that good rallies lead to the most fun which leads to the fastest progress as a player.

My emphasis depends on the student. Some students need a lesson in forward momentum...others in using the correct grip. I always try to keep to a concise, central emphasis for each lesson and I try to avoid overloading a student with too much, too quickly.

An hour long lesson with me typically goes as follows:
- 10m warmups, coach observations
- 5m conversation w/ player(s), emphasis for the day is decided based on warmups or player request(s)
- 20m skill development
- 20m game development
- 5m cool down, review, and homework
