About Me
Hello! My name is Kate, and I have been playing tennis for over 10 years. I’ve had the privilege of training under highly qualified coaches and honing my skills at Inspiration Academy, where I worked with professional and Division 1 coaches alongside some of the top-ranked junior tennis players in the country.
During high school, I earned numerous accolades, including being named a First-Team All-Region Singles Player for four consecutive years. I also went undefeated in multiple team and USTA tournaments and played a key role in leading my team to the Final Four in Georgia’s 6A Girls’ Tennis Division—the farthest my high school has ever advanced in the playoffs. After a long battle with a knee injury, I ultimately turned to coaching, where I have truly found solace. I especially love working with elementary to high school-aged students, making the learning experience both engaging and fun!
Teaching Style
I believe that any player can defeat an opponent who is objectively “better” with the right mindset. Tennis is 99% mental, and success comes from playing strategically, intentionally, and with a well-thought-out game plan. I emphasize the importance of technical skills, including footwork, proper grips, and efficient swings, to help players develop a strong foundation and competitive edge.
