About Me
My name is Karen. I was born in Armenia and moved to California in 2011. I am certified professional coach in United States since 2013 and also have International Tennis Federation’s certificate.
I have been playing tennis about 22 years and 12 years as a coach. I have played professional tennis tournament in different countries. I’m still an active coach and player. I have students who achieved 1st and 2nd places and still play and win trophy’s at USTA Tournaments.
Teaching Style
I communicate with players first about their experience.
Start with half court warm up then little by little going to baseline. I start to diagnose their mistakes and then
I make a plan how to fix it. i correct with the basket and then play live balls on the court. I usually work on groundstrokes, serve slices and volleys in one lesson, unless it’s necessary to focus on specific stroke. Then, last 15 minutes i play games with points.
