About Me

Hi, my name is Julien. I started playing tennis at age 3 in France. I was in the national team my entire junior career and move to the US on a D1 tennis scholarship. I am very passionate about the sport and love sharing my knowledge with my students. I graduated with a degree in sports management and I have been tennis ever since. I now have over 15 years experience in the teaching world.

I am USPTA, PTR, and USTA High Performance certified.

Teaching Style

I focus mostly on technique, strategy and footwork and variation on spins. the serve is also one of my specialty as it is the most important shot in the game.

I have been working with Julien for about a year and he has improved my game so much! I have taken private and semi-private lessons with him regularly, every week. He has helped me improved my ground strokes and my volleys. He taught me backhand slice and improved my footwork. With our semi-private lessons he works on doubles strategy with us and is great at teaching court-positioning. Julien has a great personality and makes you laugh so that you have fun while learning. He corrects bad habits but you don't feel like the correction is negative because he is good at turning the things you are doing wrong into a positive and making the lessons fun. I look forward to working with him each time. I would highly recommend Julien!!
