About Me
I love the game and have studied, taught, and played it since I was 14. I've taught all levels with the exception of touring pros. I worked for the ATP and Washington Tennis and Education Foundation. I still play on ALTA and USTA teams regularly and love teaching and playing.
Learning the game and playing is supposed to be fun and a valuable part of mental and physical fitness. Tennis works the whole body and beyond fitness it helps with balance, it's a social game, and contributes to your overall wellbeing!
Teaching Style
Tennis is supposed to be fun, so I introduce different types of games that reinforce your fundamentals and help get you lost in the joy of the sport.
Tennis is called a "game" for a reason. For more serious players looking to get competitive, we can certainly address your capacity for covering all shots and strategies. Brad Gilbert's book "Winning Ugly", yeah that's me and Brad in the photo, sums up my philosophy of the game and teaching it.
