About Me

Hi, my name is Giovanni. I'm 28, I am a certified PTR tennis coach and I'm originally from Italy. Back there I used to coach to adults as well as kids, whatever the age and the level of experience. I did my first year of coaching alongside a former ATP player (best ranking 200) learning all of his teaching techniques. I worked at summer camps in a couple of tennis clubs with kids and teenagers, and for almost 2 years I worked independently.

I started playing tennis when I was a kid and I was first coached by a WTA player, Italian champion. I was later selected by former ATP #200 player for his small group of players and I'm currently still coached by him.

Teaching Style

Depending on your level of experience and your goals, I will set up the perfect lesson for you. For kids I'll focus on drills/games to make sure they have fun while learning all the fundamentals of tennis. With players trying to improve their game I will focus on adjusting bad habits, strengthen what they do best with drills, rallies from every angle of the court, not just working on fundamentals but also footwork, mindset, approach to matches and tactics. Some matches are always part of the class.

If you agree, I can also do specific sessions involving athletic drills (without racket as well), mental coaching etc.

Expect to hit a lot of balls, and to have fun while learning the game!
