About Me
Hi, my name is Jake. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, I started playing tennis at age of 6
Played numerous junior and professional (ITF) tournaments including Orange Bowl and Kalamazoo
Reached top 100 in the nation for singles and doubles under the age of 18
Have been privately coached from ages of 11-17
Worked together with John McEnroe
Full scholarship to USciences University where I played the #1 spot for both singles and doubles
Obtained Rookie of the Year as well as First team all conference every year
Have had 8 years of coaching and sparring experience
I keep up with the sport every day and work with players of all ages. I work great with both singles and doubles and am available for sparring as well as technique work, drill specialization, physical training, match-play, and tournament training. I am able to travel, but depends where.
Teaching Style
This all depends on the player. I will learn a lot about you on the first day. Whether it be young children learning to play, more advanced, tournament players, individuals looking for exercise, or players looking to improve their game, I can set up different types of lessons to suit different needs. I have plenty of drills, games, and learning advice to give. I have a good eye for areas of improvement, so even if you are unsure, I am sure I will be able to help.

Jake is a great instructor! After only a couple of lessons I feel like my strokes improved and I am able to have longer rallies than before the lessons. He is very patients and gives positive and helpful feedback throughout the lesson I would highly recommend him for beginners like me.
