About Me
I have been coaching tennis since 2018. Perhaps it is my small stature, coupled with my powerful strokes that both surprise and motivate players. I am both enthusiastic and patient and help all ages see how powerful and accomplished they can feel with the right skills and practice. I help them believe in themselves. I tailor lessons to each individuals needs whether they want to learn a new skill, brush up on one specific stroke, or just want to rally back and forth to learn live ball skills.
Teaching Style
For younger students I do lots of games and hand eye coordination activities. For older students, I structure my lesson starting off with forehand and backhands, then going into working on volleys, then doing a 9 ball drill which is hitting from various areas of the court., and finally I work on serves. Towards the last 20 minutes I’ll ask the student if there is anything particular they want to work on.
Latest Reviews
I’ve taken individual lessons and participated in group clinics with Isabella over the last 8 months. She is patient, thoughtful, and takes a lot of interest in helping improve your game, and is an excellent teacher. Lessons are structured and tailored to areas where I wanted to improve. Her suggestions helped me to fix long time bad habits with my serve and forehand. I’ve reached my short term tennis goal of playing singles again after not playing for 10 years. Isabella also gave individual and semi-private lessons to my 13 and 15 year old sons who are taking up tennis more seriously and wanted to improve their swing. They both had fun working with her and seeing improvement in their games. They are attending a summer tennis camp as she has helped develop their interest. I highly recommend Isabella as a teacher for adults, teens and kids.
Isabella is a wonderful tennis instructor. Our daughter has learned so much working with Isabella in private lessons over the last several months. This has been a fun, COVID-safe activity for her.
Isabella is such a great teacher. She helped me improve so so much and still is.
