About Me
Hi, my name is Hicham. I started playing tennis at the age of 5 in Rabat, Morocco. I was ranked in the top 3 of my age category as I grew up. I competed in many national and International (ITF) tournaments. I came to the US in Fall 2012 to join Temple's men's tennis. I competed in the collegiate level for 4 years, and then took a graduate assistant coach position to complete my masters of science in investment management. Tennis has been my passion throughout all my tennis career. I like interacting with people in a tennis court and help them improve their game, as well as giving them a great work out.
Teaching Style
I usually structure the lesson depending on the players. For example: if the client is a beginner, I would emphasize on the basic technique, and feet positioning to hit the ball. Otherwise, I usually do a 10-15 min warm up, then feed some balls so the player feels his/her ground strokes, then start hitting and drilling from the baseline with different games and exercises.

As a tennis beginner, Hicham was extremely helpful with tips and tricks to really get my game to the next level, he’s also very understanding and easy to deal with as a coach. I tried 2 coaches before Hicham, and none had the same enthusiasm as Hicham nor the expertise. I worked with Hicham for almost 6 months in New York City 4 hours a month, and I've enjoyed every session. 10/10 would recommend.
Hicham has been very helpful. Outstanding experience!
Made the learning experience very enjoyable.
Always great hitting within Hicham. He plays very good tennis which makes it super fun. He adapts the lessons to my needs which is great because sometimes I’m tired and sometimes not :) Highly recommend Hicham!
He is always on time and the lessons are super fun. Definitely recommmend if you want to get a good workout in and improve your game.
He’s the best. Hicham broke down my game better than anyone else and improved it very quickly with astute observation and sound coaching/advice. He’s also very quick around the court and has an all court game. He can vary shots from topspin, slice, flat, low, high, angles, etc. easily so he can adapt to your game or keep you guessing on your toes. I learned so much so can you:)
