About Me
Hi, my name is Haris. I began playing tennis at age of 8 and fell in love with the sport. Throughout my junior career, I was the top tennis player in the Southwest Section and went on to become two time All American at Scottsdale Community College, placing 3rd in nation. My coaching career began while in college working for a private tennis club in the valley under the direction of one of the most respected tennis pros in the valley Jason Gerardo. After a few years I went to coach at Scottsdale Resort and Athletic Club and worked with some of the elite juniors in southwest with The Players Academy with another great coach David Critchley. From there I worked primarily as a consultant around the valley.
Teaching Style
Depending on the level of the player, i usually like to do an introductory lesson where i analyze your movement, technique, and overall capability. From there, i can make decisions on how i can grow you as a tennis player.

Harris is a top notch coach. He is prompt and professional in scheduling and response and is even better on the court. He has a pleasant, laid-back demeanor but actively pushes the player while instructing. In just 3 lessons, I've seen a huge improvement, have gotten an incredible workout and have wasted no time in each lesson. Highly recommend!
Harris was a wonderful tennis coach during a short visit to Arizona. He helped instruct on positioning, form, and general technique. I had a lot of fun, got a great workout, and improved my game. I'll definitely be back for more lessons when I visit again. His flexibility in scheduling was a plus as well.

Haris is a great listener and asked a lot of questions to tailor what I wanted out of my tennis lessons. I have played tennis a long time and the bad habits I had he has helped me to improve my technique with his attention to detail and the simple way he explains things. He also taught me the new techniques by layers, with the most important things worked on first like my preparation and footwork. That was smart as it helped build a solid foundation to improve my game. I would highly recommend him.
